Google Pay betting sites: deposits and withdrawals compared
Of the 24 UK bookmakers we compared, 15 mention Google Pay on their UK payment pages, 14 accept Google Pay deposits and 10 say you can withdraw with it. More bookmakers list Apple Pay (24), so Apple Pay at a bookmaker is no sign that Google Pay is available. Where bookmakers explain Google Pay withdrawals, the money goes back to the card you deposited with through Google Wallet, not to a Google balance.
How this page is funded: BookiePayout does not currently earn commission from any bookmaker on this page. If that changes, paid links will be labelled and will not change what we say, the order or which bookmakers are included. Affiliate disclosure.
How to read this comparison
The table lists every bookmaker we cover, including those that do not list Google Pay. Each Google Pay row shows whether the bookmaker states deposits and withdrawals, its own processing time, any payment transfer time, a single figure that does not say which stage it covers, the minimum withdrawal, any fee and the conditions. All of it is operator-stated, taken from the bookmaker’s UK pages on the checked date, and none of it is a guaranteed receipt time. Only bookmakers that name Google Pay on their own pages are counted; we never assume Google Pay from Apple Pay or card support.

Order: A to Z by default. Commercial relationships never affect order or inclusion.
Conditions and notes. Our summary of what each operator says alongside the figures above; follow the numbered sources for the exact wording.
10bet: Google Pay (listed under 'Debit card')
- Deposit only on the payment page; Google Pay is not listed among withdrawal methods and withdrawal routing is not stated.
- Fee shown is for deposits ('10bet doesn’t charge fees on deposits').
bet365: Google Pay
- Google Pay has a deposit row but no row on the UK withdrawal methods page, so withdrawal routing is not published.
- Only cards registered in Guernsey, Isle of Man, Ireland (Rep. Of), Jersey or the UK; no credit, pre-paid or corporate cards.
BetMGM UK: Google Pay
- Listed only in the 'All you need to know about depositing' article; not in the payment-methods table, so limits and withdrawal support are not published.
- That article also says BetMGM does not charge deposit fees.
BetUK: Google Pay
- The deposit maximum is printed as '20,00' (ambiguous), so it is not recorded.
BetVictor: Google Pay
- Contradiction: the Withdrawing Funds Policy says Apple Pay and Google Pay withdrawals arrive 'typically within 30 minutes of approval', while the Google Pay article says 1–3 working days after approval.
- Requires Google Wallet with an accepted payment card in your own name.
BoyleSports: GooglePay
- Listed for deposits but absent from the help centre's list of withdrawal methods; withdrawal_supported=false is based on that omission, not an explicit statement.
- The help centre says withdrawals requested to a non-refundable method are reprocessed to an alternative method such as bank transfer.
Coral: Google Pay
- Withdrawals are paid directly to the debit/credit card used to deposit via Google Pay, not to a Google Pay balance.
- The Google Pay FAQ gives a maximum deposit of 5000 GBP, which conflicts with the £2,000 single-deposit cap for UK customers on the Deposit Methods page.
- No withdrawal time is published.
Ladbrokes: Google Pay
- Withdrawals are paid to the debit card used to deposit via Google Pay, not to Google Pay itself.
- The Google Pay FAQ gives a maximum deposit of 5000 GBP; the UK deposit-methods page caps any single UK deposit at £2,000 on all methods.
- Available on Android devices.
Matchbook: GooglePay
- No withdrawal time published.
- Withdrawal options 'may vary based on jurisdiction'.
Midnite: Google Pay
- Withdrawals must go back to the same card used for deposits
- Credit cards are not supported via Google Pay; Wise and Yonder cards are not eligible for withdrawals
Sky Bet: Google Pay
- No longer accepted. Customers with a balance must add another method and make a £5 deposit with it before they can withdraw.
Smarkets: Google Pay
- Google Pay uses a virtual account number whose last four digits differ from the physical card.
- No Google Pay specific fee statement; the general deposit-fee article says no deposit fees are charged.
Spreadex: Google Pay
- No withdrawal time published for Google Pay.
talkSPORT BET: Google Pay
- Contradiction: the Withdrawing Funds Policy says Apple Pay/Google Pay withdrawals arrive 'within 30 minutes of approval'; the Google Pay article says 1–3 working days after approval.
- Requires Google Wallet with an accepted payment card in your own name.
Unibet: Google Pay
- Google Pay withdrawals require a previous deposit with that Google Pay card
- No Unibet deposit fee, but 'standard bank charges may apply'; min/max withdrawal limits are shown only in the cashier
How Google Pay works for betting payments
In the UK, cards are stored in the Google Wallet app, and you use them with Google Pay in apps and on websites that offer it; Google says Wallet is free to use.3536 For eligible cards, Wallet creates a virtual card with a randomly generated number, and that virtual card is what the merchant receives. Only its last four digits are shown to you.37
Google says it does not hold or process your money at checkout: the transaction is between the merchant and your card issuer, and Google cannot start or trace refunds or handle disputes.38 Refunds for purchases go back to the payment method used at checkout and may take up to two to four weeks to appear on your statement.38 That figure is about merchant refunds. Google does not describe payouts such as a bookmaker withdrawal, which follow each bookmaker’s own rules and stated times.
Google also restricts which gambling businesses can use Google Pay at all. Its developer policy allows gambling only in certain countries and for restricted integration types, and lists the United Kingdom among the countries it accepts gambling integrations from, subject to review and approval.3940 A gambling website must submit a licence showing it may offer gambling in that country.40 Google Pay at a bookmaker therefore depends on that bookmaker’s own approved integration with Google, separate from anything it has arranged with Apple.
Apple Pay at a bookmaker does not mean Google Pay
Several bookmakers list Apple Pay on their UK pages but not Google Pay. Betfair and Paddy Power group “Debit Cards & Apple Pay” and list their other methods without Google Pay.4142 Betway’s list of deposit methods includes Apple Pay but no Google Pay, and so do the payment lists of LiveScore Bet, Virgin Bet and Kwiff.43444546 QuinnBet’s terms list debit cards, Apple Pay and Open Banking, and William Hill’s UK methods page covers Apple Pay but not Google Pay.4748
Sky Bet has gone further and removed it. It says Google Pay and PayPal are no longer accepted across all Sky Betting and Gaming brands, while Apple Pay remains available.25 Sky Bet says a customer who still has a balance must add another payment method and make a £5 deposit with it before withdrawing.25 If that affects you, our guide to declined withdrawals covers what to ask.
Deposit-only Google Pay
Listing Google Pay for deposits does not mean you can withdraw with it. 10bet describes Google Pay only as a way to deposit.1 bet365 has a Google Pay row on its UK deposit page but none on its withdrawal page, and says that where it cannot pay back to your deposit method it pays to your bank account.24950 BetMGM UK names Google Pay in its depositing article but not in its payment methods table, so no limits or withdrawal details are published.351 BoyleSports lists GooglePay among deposit methods but not withdrawal methods, and says a withdrawal requested to a non-refundable method is reprocessed to an alternative such as bank transfer.101112
Where Google Pay withdrawals go
Where a bookmaker states the destination, it is the card behind Google Pay:
- Coral and Ladbrokes say all withdrawals are paid directly to the card used to deposit via Google Pay, with withdrawal limits of £5 to £5,000.1317 Their Google Pay pages give a £5,000 maximum deposit,1317 which conflicts with the £2,000 cap on any single UK deposit on their deposit methods pages.1419
- Midnite says withdrawals must go back to the same card used for deposits, that credit cards are not supported via Google Pay, and that Wise and Yonder cards are not eligible for withdrawals.24
- Unibet says you cannot make a Google Pay withdrawal without a previous deposit with that Google Pay card, and that limits are shown only in its cashier.33
- Smarkets says withdrawals are received in your bank account within 1–6 business days, and that Google Pay uses a virtual account number that differs from your physical card.26
Because the bookmaker records the virtual card, the number it shows may not match your plastic card. Check the last four digits of the virtual card in Google Wallet instead.37 If the card behind it has expired or been replaced, see expired or replaced cards.
BetVictor and talkSPORT BET publish two different figures. Their Google Pay articles say requests are usually reviewed within 24 hours and then take 1–3 working days to arrive.629 Their withdrawing funds policies say Google Pay withdrawals arrive within 30 minutes of approval.831 Matchbook, Spreadex and BetUK list Google Pay withdrawals but publish no withdrawal time for them.42127
Questions people ask
Does Google Pay charge a fee for betting payments?
Google says Google Wallet is free to use.35 Unibet lists no fee for Google Pay withdrawals and says there are no extra fees for Google Pay deposits, though standard bank charges may apply.3334 Fees for each bookmaker are in the table and in withdrawal fees and limits.
Can I use a credit card through Google Pay to bet?
No. Bookmakers licensed in Great Britain must not accept credit card payments for gambling, including card payments routed through a money service business.52 bet365’s deposit page, for example, says you cannot deposit with a credit, pre-paid or corporate card.2
Who do I contact if a Google Pay withdrawal is missing?
The bookmaker first, then your card issuer: Google says transactions happen between the merchant and the card issuer, and that it cannot trace transactions or manage disputes.38 Our guide to a pending withdrawal explains what to check before you ask.
