BookiePayout

Privacy and cookies

Short answer

BookiePayout collects very little. Reading the site sets no tracking cookies unless you choose to allow analytics. Our tools run entirely in your browser and send nothing to us. If you contact us, we use your message and email address only to reply.

Who we are

BookiePayout (bookiepayout.co.uk) is published by Bookie Payouts, which is responsible for the personal data described on this page. You can contact us about privacy at editor@bookiepayout.co.uk or through the contact form.

We do not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels or social media trackers, and we do not sell personal data.

Cookies

With no choice made, or if you choose “No thanks”, BookiePayout sets no cookies. Your choice itself is saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) under the name bp-consent.

If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier. Google says these are used to distinguish users and to keep session state, and they last up to two years unless you clear them. Google signals and advertising features are switched off for this site.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. Choosing “No thanks” stops analytics from that point and deletes the analytics cookies we can reach.

Analytics events

If you allow analytics, we also record a few anonymous actions to see whether pages are useful: opening a source link, opening a bookmaker guide from a table, using a comparison filter, completing a tool, and submitting a correction. These events record the page and template, the bookmaker or payment method involved, and where on the page the link sat. They never include anything you type into a tool or form, any amount, date, account detail or message text.

Our tools keep your information on your device

The working-day calculator and the withdrawal enquiry checklist run entirely in your browser. What you enter is not sent to us or anyone else and is not stored after you leave the page. If you download or print a record, that file stays with you.

How long we keep data

  • Contact messages and emails: as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up, then deleted.
  • Google Analytics data: kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property, then deleted by Google.
  • Web server logs: kept by our host for security and troubleshooting and not used for analytics or to identify visitors.

International transfers

Our website host’s servers are in Australia and its form service runs in the United States. Google and Forward Email may process data in the United States. Where data leaves the UK, these providers rely on the safeguards UK data protection law allows for international transfers.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email editor@bookiepayout.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
