For Ladbrokes customers in Great Britain, the clearest figure Ladbrokes publishes is for Visa Fast Funds: on an eligible Visa debit or prepaid card, a payout typically reaches your bank account within 4 hours of the request, which is a request-to-receipt figure, and Fast Funds payouts run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.5 More generally, Ladbrokes says all withdrawals are first approved by its internal review team in approximately up to 24 hours, Monday to Friday (operator processing), after which Fast Bank Transfer takes 2–4 business days to reach your bank (payment transfer).67 Fast Funds payouts over 2,000 GBP are liable to further manual checks and will likely miss the 4-hour target, and reversing a withdrawal is no longer available to UK customers.58 None of these is a guaranteed receipt time.

Ladbrokes withdrawal times by method
Ladbrokes publishes different times for different payment methods, and sometimes for different stages. We show each stage in its own column: operator processing is Ladbrokes's own review and release; payment transfer is the bank or provider's delivery time; a single stated time is used where Ladbrokes gives one figure, labelled "request to receipt" or "stage not stated" exactly as the source allows.

Conditions and notes. Our summary of what each operator says alongside the figures above; follow the numbered sources for the exact wording.
Maestro
- Withdrawal to Maestro requires a successful Maestro deposit within the last six months.
- Maestro is a debit card brand; kept separate because Ladbrokes publishes a distinct page and timing for it. The help page may be legacy content.
Visa / MasterCard debit cards (Visa Fast Funds for eligible Visa cards)
- The 4-hour figure applies only to Visa Fast Funds: compatible Visa Debit or prepaid cards from participating UK and Irish banks, shown by a stopwatch logo when withdrawing. No withdrawal time is published for other Visa or MasterCard debit cards.
- Fast Funds: Ladbrokes says checks typically take 'a couple of hours' before processing; payouts over 2000 GBP/EUR are liable to further manual checks and will likely not meet the 4-hour target; a currency different from the card's currency also slows payment; a limit of 5 Fast Funds withdrawals per rolling 24 hours applies; Fast Funds payouts are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- MasterCard withdrawals are 'currently only available to some countries' (check the cashier) and require a successful MasterCard deposit in the last 6 months.
- Credit cards cannot be used by UK customers; debit or prepaid cards issued by a Money Service Business (e.g. Transferwise, N26, Post Office Travel Card) cannot be used to deposit.
PayPal
- Withdrawal to PayPal requires a successful PayPal deposit within the last six months; it is then possible even if other deposit methods were also used.
- Funds are sent to PayPal 'after our internal procedure has been completed'; no PayPal-specific withdrawal time is published.
- New accounts that make their first deposit with PayPal have sportsbook access temporarily limited until identity verification is completed.
Apple Pay
- The Apple Pay FAQ answers 'How long does it take to receive the money transferred into my account?' with 'within 1-3 business days' without saying whether this is deposit or withdrawal timing, so it is not recorded as a withdrawal window.
- Apple Pay withdrawal routing (to Apple Pay or to the underlying card) is not explained; the page only says Apple Pay supports withdrawals.
- The FAQ says Apple Pay is available for iOS on mobile web in Safari only.
Google Pay
- Withdrawals are paid to the debit card used to deposit via Google Pay, not to Google Pay itself.
- The Google Pay FAQ gives a maximum deposit of 5000 GBP; the UK deposit-methods page caps any single UK deposit at £2,000 on all methods.
- Available on Android devices.
paysafecard (paysafecard account)
- Since 14 September 2021 deposits can only be made through a paysafecard account, not with vouchers; the account name must match the Ladbrokes account name.
- Withdrawals go to the paysafecard account after a successful paysafecard deposit, once Ladbrokes' internal procedure is complete; no time is published.
Fast Bank Transfer
- Withdrawal only: Ladbrokes does not offer deposits by Fast Bank Transfer (a separate older FAQ describes depositing by bank transfer to account details shown in the cashier).
- Only bank accounts registered in the same country as the Ladbrokes account can be used.
- Withdrawals by bank transfer to international accounts attract bank charges that are met by the customer.
Pay by Bank
- The help page URL is /payment-methods/truelayer; the provider is not named in the text.
- The Pay by Bank FAQ gives a maximum deposit of 5 000 GBP; the UK deposit-methods page caps any single UK deposit at £2,000 on all methods.
- Up to 3 bank accounts can be used with Pay by Bank at any time. No Pay by Bank withdrawal time or limits are published.
Ladbrokes deposit methods and where withdrawals are paid
Operator-stated, our summary Ladbrokes operates a closed loop system: where possible withdrawals are paid back to the methods used to deposit, and a withdrawal may be split across several deposit methods (for example, card deposits must be returned to the card before an e-wallet can receive the rest). Withdrawals are paid only to the registered account holder, and the payment method chosen for a withdrawal may be changed by Ladbrokes as a security precaution. Separately, UK accounts may have at most three payment methods in use across a rolling 30-day period.120212223

Ladbrokes withdrawal limits and fees
Operator-stated, our summary Ladbrokes states it does not charge withdrawal fees, and its UK terms say it does not charge for withdrawals to debit cards or by bank transfer to bank accounts, nor fees for processing deposits (third-party processors may charge their own). Bank transfers to international accounts carry bank charges paid by the customer. If the balance of an inactive account (13 months without cash bets) cannot be returned, a £3.00 monthly administration fee is charged after notice until the account is reactivated or the balance reaches zero; the fee can be reclaimed by contacting Customer Services.11124
Published minimum withdrawal: £5 for the methods that state one (see the table above).
For how limits and fees work generally, see withdrawal limits and fees explained.
Verification before a Ladbrokes withdrawal
Operator-stated, our summary UK customers must have their name, age and address verified (KYC) before they can deposit, play or withdraw. Ladbrokes aims to review uploaded documents within 36 hours. Further documents may be requested later during routine checks, and withdrawals may be restricted until requested verification is provided. The UK terms allow withdrawal only once verification checks are complete, and say delays in supplying requested information can delay withdrawals.125262728
Gambling Commission rules limit when a business can ask for information only at the point of withdrawal. Read verification and your withdrawal rights.
Pending, cancelled or declined Ladbrokes withdrawals
Operator-stated, our summary Reversing (cancelling) a requested withdrawal is not available to UK customers. All withdrawals are reviewed and must be approved by the internal review team before funds are paid, and pending withdrawals may be merged into one request. Withdrawal status can be checked in the cashier's payment history. Ladbrokes may cancel a withdrawal request in listed circumstances, such as third-party payment methods, unmet promotion terms or missing photo ID.58202829
If a withdrawal is taking longer than the stated time, work through what to check when a withdrawal is pending.
Ladbrokes withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays
Operator-stated, our summary The internal review of withdrawals takes approximately up to 24 hours, Monday to Friday; withdrawals to debit cards are processed Monday to Sunday, and Visa Fast Funds payouts are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ladbrokes says withdrawal times range from instant to five banking days depending on the method, that these timeframes are in addition to its internal processing time, and that the exact timeframe is shown in the cashier for each method.5630

Lost, replaced or expired cards
Operator-stated, our summary For inactive accounts (no cash bets for 13 consecutive months), Ladbrokes tries to return the balance to the last known payment method. If that payment method has expired, or the balance is below the minimum withdrawal, the customer must deposit with a new payment method and then withdraw that deposit and the remaining balance to the new method. No general expired-card procedure for active accounts was found.124
Closed or self-excluded accounts
Operator-stated, our summary After closing an account, the customer must request withdrawal of any balance, which Ladbrokes will process subject to its rights to withhold sums; open bets stand and winnings are paid when settled. On self-exclusion, funds are returned within ten working days via the current active payment method linked to the account, and returns from open bets within ten working days of the outcome. If Ladbrokes closes an account, the balance is paid back except where illegal or prohibited activity is found; funds cannot be withdrawn while an account is suspended for investigation.131

What we found in Ladbrokes's own pages
- Fast Funds comes with conditions on the same page. Ladbrokes says checks typically take “a couple of hours” before a payout is processed, that a payout in a currency different from your card’s will not be sent as quickly, and that you can make only 5 Fast Funds withdrawals in a rolling 24-hour period.5 Its general payments answer instead puts the internal review at approximately up to 24 hours on weekdays, while saying debit card withdrawals are processed Monday to Sunday.6
- Ladbrokes says each method’s withdrawal time, somewhere from instantly to five banking days, is displayed under the payment method when you withdraw and in your payment history, and that these timeframes are additional to its internal processing.30 Those figures sit behind a login, so for PayPal, paysafecard, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cards outside Fast Funds the help centre gives only the review stage.
- The Maestro page still describes withdrawals: after a Maestro deposit in the last six months, funds are credited to the card in 1–3 business days (3–5 for non-UK customers).9 It does not say whether that period starts at the request or after approval, so we show it as a single figure with the stage not stated.
- The Apple Pay page confirms withdrawals are supported but not where the money goes. Its only timing, 1–3 business days, sits under the question “How long does it take to receive the money transferred into my account?”,15 which the Google Pay page answers with “instantly”;16 neither says whether it means deposits or withdrawals, so we do not show it as a withdrawal time.
- Two Ladbrokes method pages, Google Pay and Pay by Bank, quote a 5,000 GBP maximum deposit,1619 which is higher than the £2,000 that the UK deposit-methods page allows for any single deposit, whatever the method.10 Our table records the lower UK limit.
- A withdrawal may not land where you asked. Ladbrokes says its Financial Service Department may modify withdrawals as an internal security precaution,23 the closed loop system can split one withdrawal across the methods you deposited with,20 and Google Pay withdrawals are paid to the card used for the Google Pay deposit.16
- On inactive accounts (13 consecutive months without cash bets), the UK terms allow a £3.00 monthly fee “after at least 30 days’ advance notification” if the balance cannot be returned,1 while the UK inactivity help page says the fee starts “after 30 days of being inactive”, following notification.24 The help page adds that these fees can be reclaimed by contacting Customer Services.24
Contacting Ladbrokes and making a complaint
Ladbrokes names IBAS as its alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider132. You can usually go to ADR only after Ladbrokes's own complaints process has finished or 8 weeks have passed.
Our guide to complaining about a delayed payout explains each step. BookiePayout cannot see your account or resolve disputes.
