For Virgin Bet customers in Great Britain, Virgin Bet says it aims to process withdrawals internally within 24 hours of the request, which is operator processing.5 The transfer times it gives after that are 1–3 working days for Visa and Mastercard, 2–3 working days (up to 5) for bank transfer and “almost instant once processed” for PayPal and Apple Pay; those are payment transfer estimates.5 Its withdrawal FAQ table gives Visa 2–3 hours instead,6 and a withdrawal stays blocked while verification checks are outstanding,7 so none of these figures is a guaranteed receipt time.

Virgin Bet withdrawal times by method
Virgin Bet publishes different times for different payment methods, and sometimes for different stages. We show each stage in its own column: operator processing is Virgin Bet's own review and release; payment transfer is the bank or provider's delivery time; a single stated time is used where Virgin Bet gives one figure, labelled "request to receipt" or "stage not stated" exactly as the source allows.

Virgin Bet deposit methods and where withdrawals are paid
Operator-stated, our summary A closed-loop Net Deposit system applies: funds must first be withdrawn back to each payment method with positive net deposits (deposits minus withdrawals per method over the last six months), which can split one withdrawal across several methods; once these are balanced the remainder can go to a method of the customer's choice. Payment methods must be in the customer's own name, and some methods such as prepaid cards may be deposit-only.71112

Virgin Bet withdrawal limits and fees
Operator-stated, our summary The T&Cs say the operator ordinarily does not charge for deposits or withdrawals, the withdrawal table lists fees as 'Free', and the deposit FAQ says no deposit fee is charged on any method, though card providers may treat a deposit as a cash advance and charge their own fee. Dormant accounts (no transaction for 395 days) have 5% of the balance or £5, whichever is greater, deducted per month after at least one month's notice; the full pre-dormancy balance is refunded if the customer provides updated bank details.29
Published minimum withdrawal: £5 for the methods that state one (see the table above).
For how limits and fees work generally, see withdrawal limits and fees explained.
Verification before a Virgin Bet withdrawal
Operator-stated, our summary Virgin Bet treats account verification as a legal requirement and may ask for documents verifying date of birth, address or payment method, including a copy of the payment method used when withdrawing. Withdrawals are blocked while documents are unverified or KYC checks are pending, and the T&Cs allow payment to be withheld until age, identity and anti-money-laundering checks are complete. Submitted documents are aimed to be reviewed within 24 hours; source-of-funds reviews by the compliance team aim to reply within five working days, and declining may lead to account restrictions.27131415
Gambling Commission rules limit when a business can ask for information only at the point of withdrawal. Read verification and your withdrawal rights.
Pending, cancelled or declined Virgin Bet withdrawals
Operator-stated, our summary Withdrawals cannot be cancelled. A requested withdrawal leaves the balance immediately and shows as 'Pending' for up to 24 hours while it is processed, then 'Confirmed' once sent; confirmed funds cannot be retrieved. Payments to a closed bank account or entered with wrong details are usually returned within 30 days and re-credited to the account.610
If a withdrawal is taking longer than the stated time, work through what to check when a withdrawal is pending.
Virgin Bet withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays
Operator-stated, our summary Transfer estimates may vary at weekends and on bank holidays, and the help centre asks customers to allow extra time over bank holidays because banks only process payments on working days. If funds have not arrived after 5 full business days, customers are asked to contact Support with transaction details and a bank statement.5616
Count working days for England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland with the working-day calculator.
Lost, replaced or expired cards
Operator-stated, our summary An existing card cannot be updated: a replacement or re-issued card must be added as a new payment method and Live Chat asked to remove the old one, to avoid withdrawal restrictions under the Net Deposit system. A withdrawal sent to a card that is no longer active should still succeed if the linked bank account is open; if the account is closed, funds are usually returned within 30 days and re-credited.1017
Closed or self-excluded accounts
Operator-stated, our summary Customers can close their account and request payment of outstanding funds via Customer Support; closure occurs within seven calendar days of the request and outstanding funds, less any active bonus, are returned to the debit card, bank account or another payment method. During self-exclusion settled amounts cannot be accessed until the exclusion period expires, and self-exclusion extends to all LiveScore Group sites.218

What we found in Virgin Bet's own pages
- Visa: hours or days? The article “How long will my withdrawal take?” lists Visa at 1–3 working days after processing.5 The “Popular Withdrawal Questions” table gives Visa a transfer time of 2–3 hours, while listing Mastercard at 1–3 working days.6 The method table uses the dedicated article’s figure for both card types.
- A wider range elsewhere. The article “Why haven’t I received my withdrawal?” says that once Virgin Bet has processed and approved a withdrawal it typically takes 1 to 5 business days to clear into your bank account, and asks you to contact Support if nothing has arrived after 5 full business days.16 The timing article says its estimates may vary at weekends and on bank holidays,5 and the FAQ asks you to allow extra time over a bank holiday.6
- One bank method or two? The list of accepted methods names a single “Pay by Bank (Open Banking / Bank Transfer)” option,8 but the withdrawal tables show only “Bank Transfer”,6 and the help centre does not say whether bank withdrawals are sent by open banking or by an ordinary transfer. The payment methods article also refers readers to a “Payment Information page” that we could not find in the help centre.8
- Apple Pay and Revolut Pay gaps. Apple Pay is missing from the withdrawal table of fees and limits, so no minimum, maximum or fee is published for Apple Pay withdrawals.6 Revolut Pay is listed as an accepted method,8 but no page says whether it can receive withdrawals.
- Self-exclusion and your balance. The General Terms say you cannot access any settled amounts in your account until your self-exclusion period expires.2 The help article on what happens after self-exclusion does not mention the balance; it says self-exclusion also bars you from any account run by a LiveScore Group company.18 If you close your account instead, the terms say closure happens within seven calendar days and outstanding funds, less any active bonus, are returned by a payment method you have used.2
- Dormant balances. An account with no transaction for 395 days is treated as dormant and 5% of the balance or £5, whichever is greater, is deducted each month; the terms say the full pre-dormancy balance is refunded if you contact customer services with updated bank details.2
