Apple Pay betting sites: deposits and withdrawals compared
Of the 24 UK bookmakers we compared, 24 list Apple Pay on their UK payment pages, 24 for deposits and 22 for withdrawals. Apple Pay is a way of paying with a debit card stored in Apple Wallet, so where a bookmaker explains the route, an Apple Pay withdrawal goes back to that card, usually only if you have deposited with it through Apple Pay. Credit cards cannot be used to gamble with bookmakers licensed in Great Britain, through Apple Pay or otherwise.
How this page is funded: BookiePayout does not currently earn commission from any bookmaker on this page. If that changes, paid links will be labelled and will not change what we say, the order or which bookmakers are included. Affiliate disclosure.
How to read this comparison
The table lists every bookmaker we cover, including the ones that do not list Apple Pay. Each Apple Pay row shows whether the bookmaker states deposits and withdrawals, its own processing time, the payment transfer time, any single figure that does not say which stage it covers, the minimum withdrawal, fees and conditions. Every figure is operator-stated, from the bookmaker’s UK pages on the checked date, and is not a guaranteed receipt time. Stages a bookmaker does not publish show as “not published”, never as instant.

Conditions and notes. Our summary of what each operator says alongside the figures above; follow the numbered sources for the exact wording.
10bet: Apple Pay (listed under 'Debit card')
- Deposit only on the payment page; Apple Pay is not listed among withdrawal methods and withdrawal routing is not stated.
- Fee shown is for deposits ('10bet doesn’t charge fees on deposits').
bet365: Apple Pay
- Where possible, Apple Pay withdrawals go back to the card used to deposit; otherwise they are paid by bank transfer.
- The table shows 'Instant', but the 'Where is my withdrawal?' FAQ says card and Apple Pay withdrawals can take up to 2 banking days to reach the bank, after bet365's own processing.
- Credit, pre-paid and corporate cards cannot be used through Apple Pay.
Betfair: Apple Pay
- Withdrawals via Apple Pay are only possible to a card that has previously been used to deposit via Apple Pay on the Betfair account.
Betfred: Apple Pay
- Apple Pay appears in the help-centre withdrawal table only as a logo (third row, 'Usually within 6 hours'); there is no text label, and the Insights article does not list Apple Pay. Treat the 6-hour figure and withdrawal support as lower-confidence.
- Betfred describes Apple Pay as a way to make debit card payments; it does not say whether Apple Pay withdrawals are paid to the underlying card.
BetMGM UK: ApplePay
- The 1-3 business day figure is BetMGM's general withdrawal statement, not specific to Apple Pay.
- Apple Pay appears in the payment-methods table (deposit and withdrawal) but not in the 'All you need to know about depositing' article's list of methods.
- Where an Apple Pay withdrawal is routed (e.g. to the underlying card) is not published.
- Table amounts have no currency symbol; GBP assumed (GB-only site).
BetUK: ApplePay
- Apple Pay is in the payment table and on the Apple Pay landing page, but not in the deposit article's list of methods that can be added.
- The deposit maximum is printed as '20,00' (ambiguous), so it is not recorded.
BetVictor: Apple Pay
- Contradiction: the Withdrawing Funds Policy says Apple Pay and Google Pay withdrawals arrive 'typically within 30 minutes of approval', while the Apple Pay article says 1–3 working days after approval.
- Corporate or business accounts are not accepted, even if in your name.
- Review may take longer than 24 hours if documents or further checks are needed.
Betway: Apple Pay
- The 24-hour processing figure is a general statement in the terms, not specific to Apple Pay.
- The £5 minimum comes from the help centre's general statement; the terms name only debit card and PayPal for the £5 minimum.
- Where an Apple Pay withdrawal is paid to (the underlying card or elsewhere) is not published.
BoyleSports: ApplePay
- The help centre does not say whether Apple Pay withdrawals are paid to the underlying card or how long they take to arrive.
Coral: Apple Pay
- The FAQ says Apple Pay supports withdrawals but does not say where the money is paid (for example, back to the underlying card) or how long it takes.
- The FAQ answers 'How long does it take to receive the money transferred into my account?' with 'within 1-3 business days'. That question covers deposits in the parallel FAQs, so this is not recorded as a withdrawal time.
- The FAQ says Apple Pay is available for iOS on mobile web in Safari only.
Kwiff: Apple Pay
- Apple Pay withdrawals are paid to the UK debit card connected to Apple Pay.
- If security or verification checks are needed, Kwiff aims to complete them within 24 hours before processing.
Ladbrokes: Apple Pay
- The Apple Pay FAQ answers 'How long does it take to receive the money transferred into my account?' with 'within 1-3 business days' without saying whether this is deposit or withdrawal timing, so it is not recorded as a withdrawal window.
- Apple Pay withdrawal routing (to Apple Pay or to the underlying card) is not explained; the page only says Apple Pay supports withdrawals.
- The FAQ says Apple Pay is available for iOS on mobile web in Safari only.
LiveScore Bet: Apple Pay
- Apple Pay is not listed in the withdrawal min/max/fees table
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
Matchbook: ApplePay
- No withdrawal time published.
- Withdrawal options 'may vary based on jurisdiction'.
Midnite: Apple Pay
- Withdrawals must go to the same card used for deposits
- Credit cards cannot be used via Apple Pay; Wise and Yonder cards are not eligible for withdrawals
Paddy Power: Apple Pay
- Withdrawals via Apple Pay are only possible to a card previously used to deposit via Apple Pay on the Paddy Power account.
- The Payment Methods FAQ says Visa Debit or Prepaid cards linked to Apple Pay can receive withdrawals in up to 2 hours in some cases.
QuinnBet: Apple Pay
- No page fetched says whether withdrawals can be made to Apple Pay or how they are routed.
Sky Bet: Apple Pay
- Apple Pay withdrawals are only possible to a card that has already been used for an Apple Pay deposit on the Sky Betting & Gaming account.
- No Apple Pay-specific withdrawal time, limits or fees are published.
Smarkets: Apple Pay
- Deposits on an iOS device. Apple Pay uses a device account number whose last four digits differ from the physical card, which matters for closed-loop matching.
- No Apple Pay specific fee statement; the general deposit-fee article says no deposit fees are charged.
Spreadex: Apple Pay
- No withdrawal time published for Apple Pay.
talkSPORT BET: Apple Pay
- Contradiction: the Withdrawing Funds Policy says Apple Pay/Google Pay withdrawals arrive 'within 30 minutes of approval'; the Apple Pay article says 1–3 working days after approval.
Unibet: Apple Pay
- Apple Pay withdrawals require a previous deposit with that Apple Pay card
- Withdrawals need an iPhone or iPad; min/max withdrawal limits are shown only in the cashier
- Deposits require the Safari browser
Virgin Bet: Apple Pay
- Apple Pay is not listed in the withdrawal min/max/fees table
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
William Hill: Apple Pay (for UK and Austria)
- Deposits via a credit card or money service through Apple Pay are not allowed in the UK.
- The page gives a limits table only; it does not explain where Apple Pay withdrawals are paid or state fees for Apple Pay.
How Apple Pay works for betting payments
Apple Pay lets you pay with a credit or debit card stored in the Wallet app on an iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac or iPad, in apps and on websites that offer it.6263 You need a supported card from a participating card issuer, and Apple says it is not a bank: the card is provided by your issuer.6364 When you add a card, your issuer creates a device-specific Device Account Number, and that number, not your card number, is what the website receives.64 Apple says transactions stay between you, the merchant and your card issuer.64
Apple’s own pages describe refunds of purchases: a refund goes back to the payment card automatically but may take several days to show on your statement.65 They do not describe payouts such as a bookmaker withdrawal, so where that money goes is set by each bookmaker. The Gambling Commission notes that some betting sites accept digital payment services such as Apple Pay and says the company should tell you about any minimum deposit limits or fees.66
Which card an Apple Pay withdrawal goes to
Where bookmakers explain it, the money goes to the card behind Apple Pay, not to an Apple balance:
- Only a card you have deposited from through Apple Pay. Betfair, Paddy Power and Sky Bet say you can withdraw via Apple Pay only to a card you have previously used for an Apple Pay deposit on that account.64347 Unibet says the same and adds that you must be using an iPhone or iPad.56 Midnite says withdrawals must go to the same card used for deposits.41
- The card, or bank transfer where that is not possible. bet365 pays Apple Pay withdrawals back to the card used to deposit where possible, and by bank transfer where it cannot.2 Kwiff says Apple Pay winnings go back to your connected UK debit card.30
- Withdrawals supported, route not explained. Coral and Ladbrokes say Apple Pay supports withdrawals but do not say where the money is paid.2631 Betway describes Apple Pay as a wallet for deposits and withdrawals without saying more.18
- Deposits only, as far as published. 10bet lists Apple Pay for deposits but not among its withdrawal methods, and QuinnBet lists it as a deposit method without saying whether you can withdraw with it.145
One practical point the bookmaker pages rarely make: the card number a bookmaker records through Apple Pay is not the number on your physical card. Apple says the merchant may use the Apple Pay card number, and you can see its last four digits in Wallet.65 Smarkets’ payment page also notes that Apple Pay creates a device account number that differs from your physical card digits.49 When you check which card received a withdrawal, compare the last four digits in Wallet, not on the plastic card. If the card behind Apple Pay has been replaced, see expired or replaced cards.
Which cards can sit behind Apple Pay
The Gambling Commission’s credit card ban covers credit cards used through an e-wallet,66 and bookmakers apply it to Apple Pay. William Hill says depositing by credit card or money service through Apple Pay is not allowed in the UK, and Midnite says credit cards cannot be used via Apple Pay.4161
Beyond credit cards, the rules differ. bet365 says you cannot deposit with a credit, pre-paid or corporate card, including through Apple Pay.4 Paddy Power, by contrast, names prepaid cards: it says withdrawals to an eligible Visa Debit or prepaid card, including one linked to Apple Pay, can take up to 2 hours in some cases.44 Midnite says Wise and Yonder cards are not eligible for withdrawals.41 BetVictor says payment methods must be in your own name and that corporate or business accounts are not accepted.14 Device and browser limits apply too: Coral and Ladbrokes say Apple Pay is available on iOS mobile web in Safari only, and Unibet asks you to use Safari to deposit.263157
Where bookmakers’ own pages disagree
- BetVictor and talkSPORT BET. Their Apple Pay articles say withdrawal requests are usually reviewed within 24 hours and then take 1–3 working days to reach your account.1452 Their withdrawing funds policies say Apple Pay withdrawals arrive within 30 minutes of approval.1654
- bet365. The withdrawal table shows Apple Pay as “Instant”, while its “Where is my withdrawal?” page says card and Apple Pay withdrawals can take up to 2 banking days to reach your bank account.23
- Coral and Ladbrokes. Their Apple Pay FAQs answer “How long does it take to receive the money transferred into my account?” with 1–3 business days, without saying whether that is a deposit or a withdrawal.2631 We do not treat it as a withdrawal time.
We show the figures as published. If the difference matters to you, ask the bookmaker in writing which applies and keep its answer.
Questions people ask
Is an Apple Pay withdrawal the same as a card withdrawal?
In practice, often yes: the money lands on the same card. bet365 groups “card and Apple Pay withdrawals” together when it describes the bank’s part of the wait.3 Kwiff says Apple Pay winnings go back to your connected debit card within 30 minutes.30 Compare routes across methods in fast withdrawals compared.
Does Apple Pay charge a fee for betting payments?
Apple’s UK pages we checked do not mention a fee for paying with Apple Pay. Bookmakers that mention fees say they do not charge: BetVictor and talkSPORT BET say they do not charge for deposits or withdrawals, Unibet lists no fee for Apple Pay withdrawals, and BetMGM UK says it charges none but that your bank or payment provider may.10175556
Why can I not withdraw to Apple Pay when I deposited with it?
Check whether the bookmaker supports Apple Pay withdrawals at all (see the table), whether the card in Wallet is the one you deposited with, and whether its closed-loop rule is sending the money elsewhere first. LiveScore Bet, for example, pays withdrawals first to each method with positive net deposits over the last six months.67 Our guide to declined withdrawals covers what to ask.
