Short answer

For Unibet customers in Great Britain, Unibet gives an average processing time of a few minutes to 1 banking day for debit card withdrawals, up to 24 hours for Trustly instant bank transfer and 1–3 working days for bank transfer; each is a single figure that does not say which stage it covers.678 Its missing-withdrawal page adds that money can take up to 3 banking days to arrive after a withdrawal shows as Successful,9 so these are not a guaranteed receipt time. A withdrawal is held until any requested documents are approved, which Unibet says usually takes 1–3 working days.10

Unibet withdrawal times by method

Unibet publishes different times for different payment methods, and sometimes for different stages. We show each stage in its own column: operator processing is Unibet's own review and release; payment transfer is the bank or provider's delivery time; a single stated time is used where Unibet gives one figure, labelled "request to receipt" or "stage not stated" exactly as the source allows.

Unibet deposit methods and where withdrawals are paid

Operator-stated, our summary Withdrawals can only go to a payment method used to deposit; the withdrawal page shows only the methods available to the customer based on previous use, and customer service cannot change this. A withdrawal may be split across several previously used deposit methods. All payment methods must be in the account holder's name.222232425

Unibet withdrawal limits and fees

Operator-stated, our summary Unibet says it never charges for deposits and does not charge for withdrawals to online payment services or UK debit cards, though banks may charge. Accounts unused for 12 consecutive months become Inactive and, after notice and an attempt to return the balance, may be charged a monthly Inactive Account Fee of £5 until the balance reaches zero.2

Published minimum withdrawal: £5 for the methods that state one (see the table above).

For how limits and fees work generally, see withdrawal limits and fees explained.

Verification before a Unibet withdrawal

Operator-stated, our summary Unibet says it is required by the Gambling Commission to verify customer details and may ask for further documents before a withdrawal, including proof of payment method and source of funds. Customers cannot deposit, withdraw or gamble until name, address and date of birth are verified, and withdrawals are held until requested documents are approved. Document review usually takes 1-3 working days (up to 72 hours) and Customer Support cannot speed it up.2102627

Gambling Commission rules limit when a business can ask for information only at the point of withdrawal. Read verification and your withdrawal rights.

Pending, cancelled or declined Unibet withdrawals

Operator-stated, our summary Withdrawals cannot be cancelled or reversed once requested; Unibet attributes this to a UK Gambling Commission requirement. A withdrawal shows as Pending while awaiting Unibet's approval and processing, then Successful once it has been passed to the bank or e-wallet, after which it can take up to 3 banking days to arrive. Amounts reversed (for example for a method not in the customer's name or missing documents) return to the account balance.92428

If a withdrawal is taking longer than the stated time, work through what to check when a withdrawal is pending.

Unibet withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays

Operator-stated, our summary Withdrawal times are given in banking, working or business days. The only explicit weekend/public-holiday statement found concerns bank-transfer deposits (up to 3 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays); no withdrawal-specific weekend rule was found.919

Count working days for England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland with the working-day calculator.

Lost, replaced or expired cards

Operator-stated, our summary If a withdrawal was requested to an expired card, Unibet says to allow up to 5 working days because the funds may still arrive, then contact the bank. For a stolen card, if funds have not been credited, the transaction is reversed to the betting account once the bank reports the card stolen.2930

Closed or self-excluded accounts

Operator-stated, our summary The help centre's account deactivation page says that after deactivating, the customer will not be able to withdraw any remaining funds, so balances should be withdrawn first; another help page says deactivated accounts can be reopened from the login page. If Unibet closes an account, the positive real-money balance is paid back with stated exceptions. During self-exclusion the customer cannot log in, deposit or withdraw; Unibet recommends withdrawing funds before self-excluding, says it will try to return remaining money but this may not always be possible, and that winnings after self-exclusion can be requested via Customer Support.231323334

What we found in Unibet's own pages

  • One figure per method, stage not stated. Each method page gives a single “processing time” without saying whether it covers only Unibet’s step or arrival as well, and the card figure is labelled an average.6 The missing-withdrawal page separates the stages: Pending means the request is awaiting Unibet’s approval and processing, and Successful means it is with your bank or e-wallet, after which it can take up to 3 banking days to arrive.9 That is longer than the card page’s “few mins to 1 banking day”. The same page says a withdrawal may briefly drop out of your Transaction History between the two stages, and that Customer Support cannot speed up approval.9
  • Wallet routes. Apple Pay and Google Pay withdrawals take up to 3 business days, need an earlier deposit with the same card through that wallet, and have their limits shown only in the cashier.1315 The UK Revolut Pay withdrawal page gives “Instant” processing but states its limits as “€10 /10.000”, with no sterling figure, and needs a Revolut Pay deposit first.20
  • Methods you cannot choose. The withdrawal page shows only the methods available to you, based on how you have deposited, and Unibet says contacting customer service cannot change this.23 A withdrawal can be split across several methods you have deposited with.24 Mastercard withdrawals “may not be available in your country”.12
  • Expired or stolen cards. After a withdrawal to an expired card, Unibet asks you to allow up to 5 working days because the money may still arrive, and then to contact your bank.29 For a stolen card, a payment that has not been credited is reversed to your betting account once the bank reports the card stolen.30
  • Deactivating with a balance. The Deactivate My Account page says that after deactivating you will not be able to withdraw any remaining funds,31 while the reopening page says a deactivated account can be reopened from the login page.32 We show both.
  • Self-exclusion. During self-exclusion you cannot log in, deposit or withdraw.33 Unibet says it will try to return any remaining money but that this may not always be possible, and that winnings after self-excluding can be requested through Customer Support.34

Contacting Unibet and making a complaint

Unibet names eCOGRA as its alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider235. You can usually go to ADR only after Unibet's own complaints process has finished or 8 weeks have passed.

Our guide to complaining about a delayed payout explains each step. BookiePayout cannot see your account or resolve disputes.
