Fast withdrawal betting sites: stated payout times compared
For customers in Great Britain, the quickest withdrawal routes that UK bookmakers state are Pay by Bank (open banking) payouts described as immediate, and fast card payouts such as Visa Fast Funds or Visa Direct, which several bookmakers state at up to two to four hours. Standard card and bank transfer withdrawals are usually stated in working days. Of the 24 bookmakers we compared, the table below shows each one’s quickest stated route, stage by stage. These are what operators say, subject to their checks and your bank, not guaranteed receipt times.
How this page is funded: BookiePayout does not currently earn commission from any bookmaker on this page. If that changes, paid links will be labelled and will not change what we say, the order or which bookmakers are included. Affiliate disclosure.

How to read this comparison
A “withdrawal time” can describe different things. Operator processing is the time the bookmaker says it takes to review and release your money. Payment transfer is the time it says the bank, card scheme or wallet then takes. Some bookmakers give a single stated time for the whole journey, and some give one figure without saying which stage it covers. We show each exactly as the operator describes it, with the date we checked and a numbered link to the operator’s own page.
Nothing here comes from test withdrawals. A stated time is what the bookmaker says should happen when its checks are complete and your payment method is eligible; your own withdrawal can take longer.

Conditions and notes. Our summary of what each operator says alongside the figures above; follow the numbered sources for the exact wording.
10bet: Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)
- Card withdrawals only if a debit card was used to fund the account; paid to the same card where possible.
- Same page also says 'Funds are processed within the time frame of 3 hours to up to 2 days'; FAQ says '1-2 days for the funds to clear into your account'; help centre says 'up to 2 business days'; terms 14.3 call these timeframes internal payout confirmation in business days. Basis therefore left unspecified.
- The card panel on the same page shows 'Min: £10' for withdrawals; the table and FAQ say £5.
- If a card withdrawal is not possible, 10bet may pay by an alternative means after a security check.
bet365: Apple Pay
- Where possible, Apple Pay withdrawals go back to the card used to deposit; otherwise they are paid by bank transfer.
- The table shows 'Instant', but the 'Where is my withdrawal?' FAQ says card and Apple Pay withdrawals can take up to 2 banking days to reach the bank, after bet365's own processing.
- Credit, pre-paid and corporate cards cannot be used through Apple Pay.
Betfair: Pay by Bank (Open Banking via TrueLayer; also called IBT)
- First-time Pay by Bank withdrawals: Betfair asks customers to allow at least 90 minutes; after the first time, withdrawals should be instant. If funds have not arrived after 90 minutes, wait 24 hours before contacting Betfair.
- Pay by Bank withdrawal is only available if the customer has previously deposited with Pay by Bank.
- UK customers must use GBP as account currency and an eligible UK GBP bank account; limits depend on the bank.
- Up to three bank associations per account.
Betfred: Visa / Mastercard debit cards
- Help-centre table identifies Visa and Mastercard by logo only; the Insights article gives the labelled rows 'VISA Cards - Usually within four hours' and 'MasterCard Cards - Usually within four hours'.
- Help centre: most withdrawals are processed within 4-6 hours but can take up to 12 hours depending on demand and your bank.
- Withdrawals go to the card used to deposit; if that is not possible Betfred may ask for more information.
- Credit cards are only accepted for residents of Gibraltar, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands (not GB).
BetMGM UK: Payment Card
- The 1-3 business day figure is BetMGM's general withdrawal statement, not specific to cards; BetMGM says payment times may vary by method and no internal approval time is published.
- Table amounts have no currency symbol; GBP assumed (GB-only site).
- The depositing article names this option 'VISA/MasterCard'.
- Terms 9.10.5: withdrawals under £10 must be requested via Customer Support and BetMGM may deduct a reasonable processing fee.
BetVictor: Debit card (Visa / Mastercard)
- Visa/Mastercard Fast Funds: the Withdrawing Funds Policy says 'typically within 30 minutes of approval' where the issuing bank supports it; the Withdrawal issues article says fast-funds banks 'usually within ~40 minutes' after release.
- You must have completed a deposit with the card before withdrawing to it; a new or replacement card must be deposited with before it can receive withdrawals.
- If banking restrictions prevent a card payout, funds are sent by bank transfer to the bank account linked to the card.
- Review may take longer than 24 hours if documents or further security/compliance checks are needed.
- Some digital banks and prepaid payment methods may not be accepted.
Betway: Debit Card
- The 24-hour processing figure is a general statement in the terms, not specific to cards; no time for the bank to receive card payouts is published for the UK.
- Credit cards and business or personal corporate debit cards cannot be used to deposit.
- If MasterCard, VISA or PayPal was used to deposit in the last month, those methods take preference for withdrawals.
- Express Deposit (deposit without the banking page) is available for card deposits only, for eligible customers.
BoyleSports: Visa Debit Cards / Mastercard
- The 4-hour transit applies only to cards eligible for Mastercard/Visa Fast Funds; for other cards the 2-5 working days from the request date applies.
- Withdrawals go back to the card used to deposit under the closed-loop policy; the T&Cs say that if this is not possible, payment is made by cheque, bank transfer or cash.
- The 2025 T&Cs say withdrawals may take up to three to five working days to process.
- Maximum withdrawal is per 24 hours, stated in euro 'or currency equivalent'; larger amounts require contacting Customer Services.
- Credit cards are excluded for Great Britain.
Coral: Visa (Visa debit, including Visa Fast Funds)
- The 4-hour figure applies to Visa Fast Funds payouts only: eligible Visa debit or prepaid cards from participating UK and Irish banks, shown by a stopwatch logo in the cashier. No withdrawal time is published for Visa cards that are not eligible for Fast Funds.
- The FAQ says checking and approval typically takes a couple of hours before the payout is processed.
- Payouts over 2,000 GBP/EUR are liable for further manual checks and will likely not meet the 4-hour SLA; changing the transaction currency also slows it.
- Fast Funds is limited to 5 withdrawals a day on a rolling 24-hour basis.
- Fast Funds payouts are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends.
- Visa cards issued in the USA cannot be withdrawn to.
- The 2-hour Fast Funds reversal window is stated as no longer available to UK customers.
Kwiff: Pay By Bank
- The only payout wording is 'unlock instant payouts' (promotional); Kwiff does not otherwise explain Pay By Bank withdrawal routing or timing, and its general FAQ says most withdrawals complete in under 30 minutes. Treat 'instant' as the operator's wording, not a measured time.
- Pay by Bank provider not named. Wise Pay by Bank may not work for gambling payments.
Ladbrokes: Visa / MasterCard debit cards (Visa Fast Funds for eligible Visa cards)
- The 4-hour figure applies only to Visa Fast Funds: compatible Visa Debit or prepaid cards from participating UK and Irish banks, shown by a stopwatch logo when withdrawing. No withdrawal time is published for other Visa or MasterCard debit cards.
- Fast Funds: Ladbrokes says checks typically take 'a couple of hours' before processing; payouts over 2000 GBP/EUR are liable to further manual checks and will likely not meet the 4-hour target; a currency different from the card's currency also slows payment; a limit of 5 Fast Funds withdrawals per rolling 24 hours applies; Fast Funds payouts are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- MasterCard withdrawals are 'currently only available to some countries' (check the cashier) and require a successful MasterCard deposit in the last 6 months.
- Credit cards cannot be used by UK customers; debit or prepaid cards issued by a Money Service Business (e.g. Transferwise, N26, Post Office Travel Card) cannot be used to deposit.
LiveScore Bet: Visa
- Conflicting figure: the 'Popular Withdrawal Questions' table gives Visa 'Transfer Time' as '2-3 Hours'
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
Matchbook: Bank Wire
- Bank wire withdrawals 'may be subject to fees'; no amount published. Customers who use bank wire as their main funding method may be eligible for a refund of bank wire withdrawal fees.
- Only to an account in the Matchbook account holder's name; one bank wire per client per day.
- The FAQ heading mentions bank wire deposits, but no deposit instructions are given, so deposit support is left unconfirmed.
- Processing on weekdays only, excluding public holidays.
Midnite: Apple Pay
- Withdrawals must go to the same card used for deposits
- Credit cards cannot be used via Apple Pay; Wise and Yonder cards are not eligible for withdrawals
Paddy Power: Pay by Bank (Open Banking via TrueLayer)
- First-time Pay by Bank withdrawals: Paddy Power asks customers to allow at least 90 minutes; after the first time, withdrawals should be instant. If funds have not arrived after 90 minutes, wait 24 hours before contacting Paddy Power.
- UK customers must use GBP as account currency and an eligible UK GBP bank account; limits depend on the bank.
- Up to three bank associations per account.
QuinnBet: Debit Card (Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Maestro, Revolut)
- Visa Direct withdrawals should reach the account within 4 hours of being processed; withdrawals that cannot go via Visa Direct may take up to 2-3 working days to arrive.
- The terms say payments are subject to up to three business days internal processing time, which conflicts with the help centre's 24-hour figure.
- If there is a net deposit to clear on a card, it must be cleared before withdrawing to another card.
- Cards issued by Revolut are accepted (this is a card, not Revolut Pay).
- The help-centre timing article does not name a method; it is attached here because cards are the only withdrawal route the help centre names.
Sky Bet: Pay by Bank
- Allow at least 90 minutes for the first Pay by Bank withdrawal; after that, withdrawals 'should be instant'.
- In rare cases payments are delayed; contact Sky Bet if funds have not arrived after 24 hours.
- UK customers must use GBP and have an eligible UK GBP bank account.
- Deposit and withdrawal limits depend on the customer's bank; Sky Bet publishes no fixed maximum.
- Powered by TrueLayer (Open Banking). Up to three bank associations per account.
- Sky Bet suggests Pay by Bank for customers whose card or payment method does not accept withdrawals.
Smarkets: Pay to Bank - card withdrawals
- A withdrawal route for card depositors, shown alongside the card withdrawal option only when available.
- Uses TrueLayer; the bank account must be the same account used for the original card deposit and the name must match the Smarkets account.
- If verification fails, the customer can still withdraw to the card as normal.
- The article says withdrawals are 'processed instantly' once the account is verified; the hub still lists 6 Hours processing for card withdrawals.
Spreadex: Bank Transfer / Direct Credit Bank Transfer
- Deposits: 'Bank Transfers are credited within 2 working days'; the customer's Spreadex account number must be quoted as the reference.
- Withdrawals: bank details must first be registered by email, live chat or phone.
- International transfers and transfers in currencies other than sterling incur additional charges (amount not published).
- A same-day CHAPS option at £25 is recorded separately.
talkSPORT BET: Bank Transfer (UK Domestic BACS / Bankout)
- Two official pages frame the 1–3 working days differently: the Withdrawal methods note puts it after up to 24 hours of processing (approval + transit), while the Withdrawing Funds Policy counts it from the request (end-to-end). Both are recorded; do not add them together without checking.
- Withdrawals requested Friday to Sunday are processed on Monday.
- Bank transfer is not listed as a UK deposit method (UK deposit table lists debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay only).
- Used as the fallback route when a card or other provider cannot process a withdrawal (e.g. expired card).
Unibet: Revolut Pay
- Revolut Pay withdrawals require a previous successful Revolut Pay deposit
- UK help page states withdrawal limits in euros ('Min / max withdrawal amounts: €10 /10.000'); no GBP figure published
Virgin Bet: Visa
- Conflicting figure: the 'Popular Withdrawal Questions' table gives Visa 'Transfer Time' as '2-3 Hours'
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
William Hill: Apple Pay (for UK and Austria)
- Deposits via a credit card or money service through Apple Pay are not allowed in the UK.
- The page gives a limits table only; it does not explain where Apple Pay withdrawals are paid or state fees for Apple Pay.
Why some withdrawals arrive in minutes and others take days
Three things decide how quickly money reaches you: the bookmaker’s own checks, the payment route it uses, and your bank.
Pay by Bank (open banking). An open banking payment moves money directly between bank accounts and is approved in your own banking app.112 Several bookmakers now offer it for withdrawals and describe it as their quickest route. Betfair and Paddy Power both call Pay by Bank their quickest withdrawal method and say it will appear in your bank immediately,754 but ask you to allow at least 90 minutes for the first one.653 Sky Bet says the same about first-time Pay by Bank withdrawals.61 William Hill states “Immediate to 1 working day” for its Pay By Bank route, which is a range rather than a promise of instant payment.76
Fast card payouts. Visa Direct lets a business push money straight to an eligible debit or prepaid card,113 and Mastercard Send does the same for participating cards, although Mastercard says the actual posting time depends on the receiving bank.114 Bookmakers that use these routes state much shorter card times than their standard card withdrawals. Ladbrokes and Coral state up to 4 hours for Visa Fast Funds,3438 and William Hill gives 4 hours for Visa Direct cards, with withdrawals over £10,000 going by its older route.110 Betfair says Fast Funds payouts usually arrive in seconds but can take up to 2 hours.81 Kwiff says card withdrawals use Visa Direct and Mastercard Send and reach a UK debit card within 30 minutes.37
Standard routes. Where a card or bank cannot take a fast payout, bookmakers fall back to standard routes. Sky Bet and Paddy Power say standard card withdrawals should be in your bank 2 to 5 working days from the date you request them.5462 Bank transfers made by Faster Payments usually arrive almost immediately but can take up to two hours,115 while batch payments through Bacs run on a three-day cycle.116 Bookmakers rarely say which system they use, which is one reason their bank transfer times vary so much.
Conditions that slow a “fast” withdrawal
The quick figures above come with conditions that the bookmakers state themselves. The table’s notes column shows them for each route; the common ones are:
- Eligible cards only. Fast card payouts work only with participating banks and card types. Ladbrokes and Coral say Visa Fast Funds applies to compatible Visa debit or prepaid cards issued by the UK and Irish banks they list.3438 BoyleSports says the 4-hour figure applies only to cards eligible for Mastercard or Visa Fast Funds.29
- Larger amounts take a different route. Ladbrokes says Fast Funds payouts over £2,000 face further manual checks,38 and William Hill sends compatible Visa withdrawals over £10,000 by its older route.110
- The first withdrawal. First-time Pay by Bank withdrawals carry a longer stated time at Betfair, Paddy Power and Sky Bet,65361 and verification has to be complete before any withdrawal at most bookmakers.
- Withdraw to where you deposited. Most bookmakers return money to the method you used to deposit, so a fast route is only available if you have deposited with it. Each bookmaker guide sets out its own rule.
Gambling Commission rules also matter here. A business should not use a withdrawal request as the trigger for asking for information it could reasonably have asked for earlier,117 and customers must not be offered the option to cancel a withdrawal once it is requested.118
Where the bookmakers’ own pages disagree
Some bookmakers publish different times for the same thing on different pages. bet365’s withdrawal table shows Apple Pay as “Instant”, while its “Where is my withdrawal?” answer says card and Apple Pay withdrawals can take up to 2 banking days to reach your bank after bet365 has processed them.34 Kwiff’s only description of Pay By Bank withdrawals is the phrase “unlock instant payouts”, without a stated time or stage.37 Where we find contradictions like these we show both, and the relevant bookmaker guide explains them.

Conditions and notes. Our summary of what each operator says alongside the figures above; follow the numbered sources for the exact wording.
10bet: Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)

- Same page also says 'Funds are processed within the time frame of 3 hours to up to 2 days'; FAQ says '1-2 days for the funds to clear into your account'; help centre says 'up to 2 business days'; terms 14.3 call these timeframes internal payout confirmation in business days. - The 1-3 business day figure is for UK customers; non-UK customers are quoted 3-5 business days.
Kwiff: Debit Cards (Visa / Mastercard)
- Card withdrawals use Visa Direct / Mastercard Send push-to-card payouts.
- If security or verification checks are needed, Kwiff aims to complete them within 24 hours before processing.
- Credit and prepaid cards are not accepted; Wise debit cards may not work for gambling payments.
Ladbrokes: Maestro
- Withdrawal to Maestro requires a successful Maestro deposit within the last six months.
- Maestro is a debit card brand; kept separate because Ladbrokes publishes a distinct page and timing for it. The help page may be legacy content.
LiveScore Bet: Mastercard
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
Matchbook: Visa, Mastercard
- No withdrawal time published.
- Withdrawal options 'may vary based on jurisdiction'.
Midnite: Visa / Mastercard (Debit Cards)
- Withdrawals go back to the card used to deposit; only one payment method can be active on the account at a time
- Withdrawals to Wise cards fail; Midnite then offers Pay by Bank to the bank account linked to the Wise card
- Credit cards are not accepted for deposits or withdrawals
Paddy Power: Debit Cards (Visa / Mastercard debit)
- Instant withdrawals: all Visa cards and participating Mastercards are eligible; Paddy Power says these should be in the bank account within 1-4 hours, and to get in touch if not received within 24 hours.
- Payment Methods FAQ: eligible Visa Debit or Prepaid cards (including those linked to Apple Pay) can take up to 2 hours; limits apply. For other cards it says 2-3 working days, up to 5 working days.
- Up to three debit cards can be registered; cards must be in the account holder's name.
Sky Bet: Card Payments (Debit Cards)
- The 1-4 hour figure is for 'Instant Withdrawals': all Visa cards and participating Mastercards are eligible.
- Card Payments - Standard Withdrawals (cards not eligible for instant withdrawals): 'Standard withdrawals should be in your bank 2-5 working days from the date you requested them' (end to end). Bank holidays are not working days. Minimum £5.00.
- Instant withdrawals can occasionally take longer than 4 hours; contact Sky Bet if not received within 24 hours.
- Terms clause 12.7 gives a 'standard minimum withdrawal amount' of £10, which contradicts the £5.00 on the help page.
- Up to three debit cards per account. Credit cards cannot be used to deposit. Only cards in the customer's own name are allowed.
- Card deposit minimum and maximum are not published.
Smarkets: Debit Card (Visa/MC)
- Only UK debit cards accepted for UK customers; credit cards prohibited (hub). The Visa Credit Card article says that method is only for MGA-jurisdiction users.
- For certain Mastercard and Maestro cards, withdrawals are limited to the net amount deposited from the card; profit must be withdrawn by another method.
- Some banks will not accept payouts to Mastercard; customer service then arranges an alternative method.
- A 'Pay to Bank' (TrueLayer) option may appear alongside card withdrawals and pays the linked bank account instead (recorded separately).
- Older articles (2022) give a card deposit maximum of £3,500 and describe card withdrawals as 'processed within 1-6 business days'; the 2026 hub gives £15,000 / £10,000 limits and 6 Hours processing.
Spreadex: UK debit card (Visa, Maestro, Mastercard)
- The 2-hour figure is a fast card payout counted from approval (Visa Fast Funds / Mastercard Send style; the operator does not name the scheme). Some card issuers cannot accept it, and payments to those cards 'take the more traditional 2 – 5 days to be received' (start point not stated).
- No approval or processing time is published.
- Card withdrawals must go back to the card used to deposit.
- Deposits can also be made by phone (01727 895 000).
- The sports page lists Visa and Switch/Maestro debit cards for deposits but refers to Visa/Mastercard for withdrawals.
talkSPORT BET: Debit card (Visa / Mastercard)
- Fast Funds (Visa and Mastercard): 'within 30 minutes of approval' per the Withdrawing Funds Policy, or 'within around 40 minutes of being released' per the Withdrawal issues article; only if the issuing bank offers Fast Funds.
- You must deposit with a card before withdrawing to it; a new card must be added and deposited with before it can receive withdrawals.
- If banking restrictions prevent a card payout, funds are sent by bank transfer to the bank account linked to the card.
- Some digital banks and prepaid payment methods may not be accepted.
Unibet: Debit Card
- Card withdrawal figure is described as an average
- Withdrawal only to a card that has made a successful deposit and is still active on the account
- Mastercard withdrawals 'may not be available in your country'
- Credit cards cannot be used for gambling deposits in the UK
Virgin Bet: Visa
- Conflicting figure: the 'Popular Withdrawal Questions' table gives Visa 'Transfer Time' as '2-3 Hours'
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
Virgin Bet: Mastercard
- Closed-loop / Net Deposit rules: withdrawals go first to the method(s) with positive net deposits over the last six months
William Hill: Debit Card
- Visa Direct: for a compatible Visa card whose bank supports Visa Direct, the table gives 'Visa Direct cards - 4 hours'; the Visa Direct article says a withdrawal 'will usually take up to four (4) hours to reach your bank account' once requested, including weekends and public holidays (end to end, operator wording).
- Visa Direct article: 'It normally takes a couple of hours to check and approve withdrawals before we process them.' Some withdrawals need further internal checks that can extend past four hours.
- Compatible Visa withdrawals of £10,000 or less go via Visa Direct; withdrawals over £10,000 go 'through the old route' and arrive 'in up to three (3) days'.
- Maximum withdrawal differs by card type: £33,000 Mastercard and Visa Debit, £40,000 Maestro, £35,000 Visa Electron.
- Withdrawals must go back to the card used to deposit.
- If funds have not arrived after five working days (one full day for Visa Direct), customers can request an ARN to trace the payment with their bank.
Questions people ask
Which betting site pays out the fastest?
No bookmaker can be shown to pay everyone fastest. What we can compare is what each one states. On that basis, Pay by Bank routes described as immediate and fast card payouts stated in minutes or a few hours are the quickest, but each applies only to eligible accounts, cards and amounts. The table above puts every bookmaker’s quickest stated route side by side with its conditions.
Are instant withdrawals really instant?
Sometimes. Faster Payments usually arrive almost immediately but can take up to two hours,115 and fast card payouts depend on the receiving bank.114 The bookmaker’s own checks come first, and several bookmakers state processing times of up to 24 hours or more before any transfer starts.
Do weekends and bank holidays slow withdrawals down?
Often, for anything stated in working or banking days. Some fast routes run every day; others pause until the next working day. See withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays and count the days with the working-day calculator.
My withdrawal is taking longer than the stated time. What now?
Check the stage it is at, then contact the bookmaker’s official support. Our guide to pending withdrawals walks through it, and how to complain about a delayed payout covers the formal route.
