For Matchbook customers in Great Britain, Matchbook publishes withdrawal times only for bank wire: it says wires are processed within 24 hours, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays, which is its own processing stage, and that a wire usually takes 3–5 business days to arrive, which is the payment transfer stage.4 Bank wire withdrawals have a £500 minimum and may be subject to fees.4 For Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill and Neteller the minimum withdrawal is £10 but no withdrawal time is given, and under Matchbook’s closed-loop policy withdrawals return to the method you deposited with.4 These are operator-stated figures, not a guaranteed receipt time.

Matchbook withdrawal times by method
Matchbook publishes different times for different payment methods, and sometimes for different stages. We show each stage in its own column: operator processing is Matchbook's own review and release; payment transfer is the bank or provider's delivery time; a single stated time is used where Matchbook gives one figure, labelled "request to receipt" or "stage not stated" exactly as the source allows.

Matchbook deposit methods and where withdrawals are paid
Operator-stated, our summary Matchbook operates a closed-loop policy: withdrawals return to the original deposit source. Where several methods were used, withdrawals go back to the deposit methods first, and within each method to the oldest deposit first. To withdraw to a new method, the customer must first make a small deposit with it, and Matchbook may question withdrawals to methods not previously used. Deposits must come from payment methods in the customer's own name.4

Matchbook withdrawal limits and fees
Operator-stated, our summary No standard deposit or withdrawal fee is published. Matchbook may charge a processing fee, notified in advance, if deposit or withdrawal activity is not matched by enough betting. Bank wire withdrawals may be subject to fees. Accounts with no login for 12 months or more are charged a monthly inactive account fee; the amount is stated in an email sent at least 30 days before the first charge. After 5 years of such fees, any remaining balance is removed and the account closed.34
Published minimum withdrawals range from £10 (Visa, Mastercard) to £500 (Bank Wire). Maximums, where published, are in the table above.
For how limits and fees work generally, see withdrawal limits and fees explained.
Verification before a Matchbook withdrawal
Operator-stated, our summary Accounts must be verified before any withdrawal is authorised. Matchbook tries to verify electronically and otherwise asks for photo ID and proof of address. No withdrawals are processed from unverified accounts, and funds may be held if documents are not provided in time. Further documents, including source of wealth evidence or documents for a bank wire after a large win, may be requested later, and failure to provide them can lead to account restrictions.456
Gambling Commission rules limit when a business can ask for information only at the point of withdrawal. Read verification and your withdrawal rights.
Pending, cancelled or declined Matchbook withdrawals
Not published in the pages we checked. We record this as unknown, not as a negative finding.

Matchbook withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays
Operator-stated, our summary The only processing schedule published is for bank wires: processed within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, with one bank wire per client per day. Only cleared funds can be withdrawn; funds tied to open positions are not cleared. Withdrawals that cannot be requested on the website can be requested by email to accounts@matchbook.com.34

Lost, replaced or expired cards
Operator-stated, our summary If the deposit card has expired or been replaced, customers are asked to contact Matchbook by live chat or accounts@matchbook.com.4
Closed or self-excluded accounts
Operator-stated, our summary After self-exclusion, funds left in the account remain available for withdrawal on request to customer service. During a time-out (up to 6 weeks) the customer cannot log in to withdraw but can ask customer service for a withdrawal. Customers can close their account with at least 24 hours' notice, provided the balance is not negative and nothing is owed. If Matchbook terminates an account under its terms, it may cancel bets and withhold winnings except where unlawful.378

What we found in Matchbook's own pages
- Matchbook’s funding FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Neteller and Skrill with a £10 minimum deposit and withdrawal, and says options may vary by jurisdiction, but it gives no processing or arrival time for any of them.4 The only timings on the page are for bank wire.
- Bank wire withdrawals carry a £500 minimum and “may be subject to fees”, with no amount given; customers who use bank wire as their main way to deposit and withdraw may be eligible for a refund of those fees. Only one bank wire is processed per client per day, and only to an account in the Matchbook account holder’s name.4
- The FAQ heading asks “How do I request a Bank Wire Deposit or Withdrawal?”, but the answer covers only withdrawals, so whether bank wire deposits are accepted is not confirmed.4
- The terms still mention “recent credit-card deposits” when defining which funds are cleared for withdrawal,3 although the funding FAQ lists no credit card option.4
- Matchbook’s terms say only that it is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission to provide services to UK residents, with no account number.3 The Gambling Commission register lists the trading name “matchbook” under Triplebet Limited, account 39504.9
- No standard withdrawal fee is published. The terms allow a processing fee, notified before it is deducted, if deposit or withdrawal activity is not matched by enough play, and a monthly fee on accounts with no login for 12 months or more, with the amount stated only in an email to the customer.3
- Not published: a maximum withdrawal for any method, and any rule on cancelling a pending withdrawal. For a card that has expired or been replaced, the FAQ asks you to contact Matchbook by live chat or at accounts@matchbook.com,4 and the terms say a withdrawal that cannot be requested on the website can be requested by email to the same address.3
