Revolut betting sites: Revolut Pay, Revolut cards and the gambling block
For customers in Great Britain, 6 of the 24 bookmakers we checked list Revolut Pay, and 4 say withdrawals can be paid back to it. Revolut Pay is a payment from your Revolut account that you approve in the Revolut app. It is not the same as paying with a Revolut-issued debit card, which bookmakers treat as a card, or sending a bank transfer from a Revolut account. Revolut’s optional gambling block stops card payments identified as gambling, but Revolut says it does not cover bank transfers or payments through third-party apps, so it is not a complete barrier on its own.
How this page is funded: BookiePayout does not currently earn commission from any bookmaker on this page. If that changes, paid links will be labelled and will not change what we say, the order or which bookmakers are included. Affiliate disclosure.
How to read this comparison
The table covers Revolut Pay only, as each bookmaker names it on its UK payment pages. Bookmakers that do not list Revolut Pay show “Not listed”, even if they accept Revolut-issued cards or bank payments from a Revolut account; those routes are explained below. Times are split into operator processing (the bookmaker’s review), payment transfer and a single stated time where the operator gives one figure without naming the stage. Every figure is operator-stated, dated, and not a guaranteed receipt time.

Three ways a Revolut account can be involved
| Route | What it is | How bookmakers list it | Where to compare |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revolut Pay | A checkout payment approved in the Revolut app, taken from your Revolut account | “Revolut Pay” | This page |
| Revolut-issued card | A debit card on your Revolut account, entered by card number, expiry and security code | Under debit cards, or as a separate “Revolut” option | Each bookmaker guide |
| Bank payment from a Revolut account | A bank transfer or Pay by Bank payment from the account | “Bank Transfer” or “Pay by Bank” | Bank transfer betting sites |
Revolut Pay. Revolut describes it as a one-click method for paying directly from your Revolut account without entering card or bank details; you are sent to the Revolut app to confirm.14 Revolut’s Buyer Protection Policy defines a Revolut Pay purchase as an Instant Transfer to the merchant, and its business page calls these transactions account to account.1516 So it is not a card payment when paid from a Revolut account. Revolut’s merchant page says shoppers without a Revolut account can still check out with Revolut Pay using a card,16 but Midnite says its Revolut Pay option needs an active Revolut account and the app.7 Credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain, including through an e-wallet.17
A Revolut card. Kwiff lists a separate “Revolut” option that is a Revolut debit card, entered with card number, expiry and security code, and says withdrawals go back to the card within 30 minutes.1819 QuinnBet names Revolut among the debit card types it accepts.20 Card rules, not Revolut Pay rules, apply to these.
How Revolut Pay withdrawals differ between bookmakers
Where a bookmaker states Revolut Pay withdrawals, the money goes back to Revolut. bet365 returns funds deposited by Revolut Pay to the Revolut account used for the deposit, and Unibet makes Revolut Pay available for withdrawal only after a successful Revolut Pay deposit.110
The details differ more than the table’s single cells suggest:
- Sky Bet says Revolut Pay withdrawals are usually instant, with no minimum withdrawal and no fees, but only for customers registered in the UK using pounds, and not on Sky Poker.8
- Unibet’s UK help page gives Revolut Pay withdrawal limits in euros (€10 to 10.000) and no sterling figure, while its deposit limits are in pounds.1011
- Midnite deposits instantly but states up to 72 hours for Revolut Pay withdrawals.5
- LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet list Revolut Pay as an accepted method but publish nothing on Revolut Pay withdrawals.312 Their closed-loop rules send withdrawals first to methods with positive net deposits over the last six months, so their cashier is where the route is shown.2122
Revolut itself documents merchant refunds, which go back to the customer’s original payment method, but not bookmaker payouts.23 How a withdrawal reaches Revolut Pay is therefore whatever each bookmaker states.
Revolut’s gambling block: what it covers
Revolut’s gambling block is an app setting, off by default, that blocks card payments identified as gambling, including online and in a betting shop. It is under Profile, Security, Payments.24 It takes effect immediately, cannot be bypassed while it is on, and takes up to 48 hours to lift if you switch it off.24
Its limits matter if you are relying on it. Revolut says the block does not affect bank transfers or payments made through third-party apps, and that it works on merchant category codes, so a merchant using a different code may not be stopped.24 Revolut does not say whether the block applies to Revolut Pay, which it defines as an account transfer rather than a card payment, so do not assume it does.
If you want a firmer barrier, Revolut asks customers who want limits on gambling transactions to contact it through in-app chat, and points to GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.25 GAMSTOP blocks gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain for a period you choose,26 each bookmaker must offer its own self-exclusion,27 and blocking software can stop gambling sites loading on your devices.28 Using these together covers more than any single payment block.
Related questions
Is Revolut Pay an e-wallet?
bet365 shows Revolut Pay as an “eWallet” in its payment tables,2 while Revolut defines it as an instant transfer from your Revolut account.15 Either way, the bookmakers that list it show it as a payment method in its own right, separate from cards and bank transfers.
Does Revolut Pay’s buyer protection cover bets?
No. Revolut Pay Buyer Protection lists gambling and games of chance as excluded products.15
My Revolut Pay deposit shows as pending. What does that mean?
Revolut says most Revolut Pay transactions complete immediately. “Pending” means the merchant has not yet processed the payment, and if it does not do so within 7 days, the money returns to your account automatically.14
Are there fees?
Sky Bet and Unibet state no fees for Revolut Pay.811 The other bookmakers that list it publish no Revolut Pay fee either way, and we found no consumer fee on the Revolut pages we reviewed.
