Betdaq withdrawal times by method

Betdaq publishes different times for different payment methods, and sometimes for different stages. We show each stage in its own column: operator processing is Betdaq's own review and release; payment transfer is the bank or provider's delivery time; a single stated time is used where Betdaq gives one figure, labelled "request to receipt" or "stage not stated" exactly as the source allows.

Betdaq deposit methods and where withdrawals are paid

Operator-stated, our summary Withdrawals go back to the source of the deposited funds where possible. Customers must withdraw the amount deposited to a payment method before withdrawing to another. Where a deposit method cannot receive withdrawals, an alternative method is used after identity and address documents are provided.⁷¹⁴¹⁸

Betdaq withdrawal limits and fees

Operator-stated, our summary The withdrawal tables list all methods as free, and the Closure FAQ says Betdaq charges no withdrawal fees. The Terms say no surcharge applies to standard card, e-wallet or non-urgent bank transfer payments, but Betdaq may charge if payment activity is not matched by enough play. Same-day bank transfers and cheque lodgements may carry a service charge. A processing fee may apply to partial withdrawals of cash committed to an active bonus. An inactive-account fee may apply after 12 months without a login and is refundable on request within 12 months.⁷⁸

Verification before a Betdaq withdrawal

Operator-stated, our summary Betdaq says customers may not deposit or bet until their details are verified, and missing documents can delay deposits and withdrawals. Withdrawals are made once the account is fully verified, and proof of identity and address may be requested first. During the closure, identity or source-of-funds checks may be carried out before a withdrawal is processed.^8101920

Pending, cancelled or declined Betdaq withdrawals

Operator-stated, our summary Betdaq withdrawals cannot be reversed or cancelled once requested.²¹

Betdaq withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays

Operator-stated, our summary Bank transfer withdrawals are issued the next business day. During the closure, Betdaq aims to process withdrawals within one working day, then funds may take 3 to 5 working days to reach the bank depending on the payment provider. Customer Services is email-only, open Monday to Sunday 9am to 6pm, and aims to reply within 48 hours.⁸¹⁴²²

Lost, replaced or expired cards

Operator-stated, our summary If the registered payment method has expired or closed, customers can add a new method in their account (which requires a £1 deposit with it before withdrawing) or contact helpdesk@betdaq.com. Card expiry dates are updated by customer services. A card cannot be removed while it has net deposits, before expiry, or before KYC is complete.⁸¹⁵²³

Closed or self-excluded accounts

Operator-stated, our summary Betdaq is closing. Betting ends on 21 Oct 2026, and customers can log in to withdraw until 4 Nov 2026. After that, outstanding balances are handled through Customer Services, and unclaimed balances under £1 may be donated to charity subject to legal and regulatory confirmation. Under the general terms, a self-excluded account is only used to return funds, customers may close accounts at any time, and Betdaq may withhold funds where misuse is suspected and donate them to charity if the account is closed after an investigation.¹⁷⁸

What we found in Betdaq's own pages

• The closure timetable. Since 14 October 2026 the only deposit allowed is up to £1 to add a new payment method for withdrawing your balance.⁸ Betting ends on 21 October 2026, account access for statements and withdrawals ends on 4 November 2026, and from 5 November 2026 the website will show a closure notice with Customer Services contact details.⁸ Betdaq says balances below £1 that remain unclaimed may be donated to charity, subject to legal and regulatory confirmation.⁸
• Accounts do not move to Matchbook. Betdaq says Triplebet Limited, the operator of Matchbook, has agreed to buy the BETDAQ brand name and domains, but not customer accounts or the customer database, and existing accounts will not transfer automatically.⁸
• Timing differs between the closure FAQ and older pages. The closure FAQ gives one working day for Betdaq’s processing, then 3 to 5 working days to your bank.⁸ The March 2026 withdrawal table shows debit cards at “2-5 Days”, plus up to 24 hours of security checks “in addition to the standard processing times”,¹⁰ and an article title says card withdrawals take 1–5 working days.¹² For bank transfer, one article says payments are issued the next business day and typically clear in 2–5 days,¹⁴ while the December 2023 table says 1–5 days.¹¹ We lead with the closure FAQ, updated 14 October 2026.
• Limits differ too. The closure FAQ gives a £1 minimum and no maximum.⁸ An older limits article gives a £10 minimum and a £15,000 daily maximum for cards.¹³
• PayPal is listed inconsistently. PayPal is a UK deposit method⁹ and appears with Skrill at “Up to 24 hours” in the December 2023 withdrawal table and on the home page,¹¹¹ but the March 2026 withdrawal table lists only cards, Skrill and NETeller.¹⁰
• How customer money is held. The closure FAQ says customer funds are held in segregated bank accounts, separate from operating funds, and that enough is held to cover all outstanding balances.⁸ The About Us article adds that the segregated account is managed by BETDAQ Trustee Company Limited, a related group company, meeting the Gambling Commission’s requirements at the level of “medium protection”.²⁴
• Withdrawals cannot be cancelled, and support is by email. Betdaq says a withdrawal cannot be reversed or cancelled once made.²¹ Customer Services runs an email-only service, 9am to 6pm Monday to Sunday, and aims to reply within 48 hours.²² Betdaq may carry out identity or source-of-funds checks before processing a closure withdrawal.⁸
